Mrs. Jodie McPherson

My name is Jodie McPherson. I have been in education for more than 25 years, working in several areas including a 5th grade teacher, math/reading intervention teacher, reading/writing coach, and Title I facilitator. I began working with Chickasaw City Schools when the system opened in 2012. I am currently working as the director of both pre-k and federal programs. I am a University of South Alabama graduate where I received my Master of Education and Certificate of Education Administration.

I am a proud mother of two sons and a daughter. My husband and I spend as much free time as possible on the beautiful Perdido Bay or enjoying time with our children and new grandchildren. 

I view a collaborative school environment and partnerships with parents and community members are  key to creating successful students. If I can ever be of assistance, please let me know.
