Principal's Message

Dear Pre-K Parents,

We are delighted to have your child in our Early Learning Center (ELC).  At this time, we have three Alabama First Class Office of School Readiness Pre-K Classrooms for four year old students whose birthday falls before September 1, 2014. Through a partnership with Mobile Community Action, we house two Head Start classrooms for three and four year old students. There is a strong correlation between early childhood education and success in grades k-12. Our teachers and staff will provide a very strong foundation in early literacy, math and social skills for your child. This will all be accomplished in a nurturing loving environment full of play based learning activities. Our teachers and staff at the ELC are very dedicated to the success of each child and family.

Parental support will help your child grow and develop academically and socially. We encourage you to get involve by asking questions, volunteering, attending meetings and events and spending quality time with your child. Together, we will help provide a solid educational foundation for your child.

As the director of the Chickasaw Early Learning Center, welcome to the ELC family! We are very fortunate to have this program within our school system. We look forward to working with you and your child. Please contact me if I can ever be of assistance to you.
